Well, today has been a busy busy day. School was a mess; the kiddos were wound up (full moon). I woke up today and my hip really wasn't that sore. As the day went on, it got worse. I decided to call an orthopedic dr. After making a few phone calls I got a hold of one and explained my situation. She said she'd call me back later. I now have an appt. Friday @ 9:15. The dr. wants to see me (imagine that). Hopefully it'll go okay; I'm going to cancel my chiro appt. for Thurs. I spent after school running around Joplin getting Tony's b-day presents since they were done. I also went and got our engagment pics. Here they are:

Updates
First, I'll start with the hip stuff. Since I went to the chiro last Thursday, not a whole lot has changed. I was still in pain over the weekend and my hip had become dislocated again. The pain never really did go away, but I blocked it out as much as I could. I laid around all weekend on the couch with my ice pack. Today, I went to work and that was the most movement I'd done since Thurs. I went to the chiro today after school. Of course he said it was out. It took longer to put back; he pushed and shoved on me every which way. He shocked my muscles again. However, now we have issues. He is perplexed; leave it to me to leave the chiro confused. Once he put my hip back in, my leg should be straight. It's not, my hip is in but my leg is crooked. He knee hurts and had but I attributed it to the hip thing. He asked if I'd ever had any knee problems and I said no. He's not sure what's wrong or going on. My leg should be straight and it's not. Everyone has it a little off, but mine is way off. I go back Thursday and may have to go for a while until my body will accept my hip in the right place. So, I'm not sure what to do. He thinks I injured my knee at some pt. I very well could have in the truck accident and like I said attributed all the pain to my hip. Sallie (my boss) thinks I need to go get a 2nd opinion as in an orthopedic dr. She doesn't believe in chiro's. Another person says to go back to my reg. dr. (who told me I was fine). I don't know what to do. The chiro is going to cost my a pretty penny ($30 a visit) and Thurs. will make $90 in a week. If anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears (well eyes in this case). It sucks cause Tony's gone and my parents are gone so I'm having to function on my own in severe pain. I don't want to have to be in pain forever. I don't know if it's all my hip or if my knee or what; not sure if I do need to go somewhere else to go deeper into this.
As far as Tony being gone, we received a phone call Sat. night that his uncle was found in his driveway. He had a massive h. attack and passed away. Tony left for FL on Sunday and will be back home on Thurs. I was really bummed I couldn't go as I felt I needed to be there for Tony (he's a rough few months with deaths in the family). I couldn't get off work for 1 and with my hip and an airport not a good combo. However, he's done well he found a flower girl for our wedding. So that's a plus! He get to see his family some of which it's been a while.
With all that being said, I need to go back to my assumed position on the couch with my ice. Tomorrow will be just as bad as Friday! UGH!!! Like I said any opinions or suggestions would be appreciated!!!

Hip update!
Since the field trip incident from jumping off the wagon my hip has hurt worse than it had before. Really, it never had stopped hurting (it's been 4 months since the truck accident). A co-worker insisted I go see a Chiropractor. I made an appt. with the local guy in Seneca and went yesterday. His response was "Oh My... " I said what do you mean, he said that's all I can say without saying something not nice. Apparently, my hip was dislocated and had been for 4 months. YIKES!! No wonder it was still hurting. Dr.'s only look for breaks, cracks, etc.. So they didn't catch that on the x-ray. 4-months later it still shouldn't be hurting from the bruise. So he hooked me up to a machine that shocks the muscles. He told me tell him when the intensity got too much. He cranked it all the way up and I still said nothing. He told me most people would've told him to stop a long time ago and it was up as high as it would go. It felt like I was getting a whole bunch of little tattoos. He left that on for about 10 min. Then it came time to put my hip in it's place. Nothing seemed to work it was that bad. I had to keep rolling over and finally after 4-5 times it went. Boy was it loud but felt better. However, he said tomorrow (today) I would be in so much pain like I'd been hit by a truck again. Boy was he ever right. He said to stay off it, lay down, and keep ice on it. He said I would need to go back next week and have it done again. Since it'd been out for 4 months my body isn't used to be in it's right place so my body would pop it out again. Oh geez!!!! Last night I laid on the couch with ice. I could feel it hurting. Today, I woke up in the worst pain I'd ever felt (worse than my surgery). I didn't want to go to work and Tony didn't want me to either. It was picture day so I felt I needed to go. It took forever to get ready. Needless to say I didn't last all day as I'm home typing this. I lasted as long as I could. Now it's time for the ice, couch, and tv. Tony was so nice and made dinner last night; we'll see how 2 nite goes. I'm glad I went to the chiro and found out what was wrong; honestly I probably wouldn't have done anything about it otherwise. The dr's just said it was still healing.. BS!!! Anyway, I learned my lesson! Granted I learned it the hard/painful way!!! Dislocated hips hurt! The chiro said that I was the worst he'd seen and was very surprised that something else hadn't happened because of this. No kidding! That was best $30 I've ever spent! I just hope the pain goes away! For now, adios! Glad we're staying home this weekend!

Fall
Fall is my favorite season. I love the cooler weather and the how nature looks and the changes that take place. The trees are beautiful and this is great weather.
Not a whole lot has gone on since my last post. Tony came home from NY on Friday night. Sat. morning we had our engagement pictures taken at Smith Photography in Joplin. I will post them when we get them (that should be later this week). They turned out great (what we picked out). Sat. afternoon Tony had planned (without me knowledge) to go to the Tulsa fair with Brooke and George. He knew I had been wanting to "go away" and get away from things. He kept bringing up the Ferris Wheel (he said I was hopeless romantic and thought it would be nice to do). We left from Miami, OK around 3:15 and got to the fairground around 4:30 or so. However, being the next to last day it was PACKED. So packed that we drove through one of the parking lots for 45 min. and still no place to park. Tony.. didn't want to pay $5 to park across the street at the mall and walk. Oh, did I forget to mention I had to pee and had to do so since we were in Miami. It was now to the point I really really really had to go. Tony had the bright idea to try the other parking lot... yeah right. We sat in a traffic line for 30+ min and went about 1/2 a block if that. Finally, I got so aggravated that Brooke gave me $5 to go park in the mall parking lot. Thank you Brooke!! Nice to see who loves me more!!! We parked and walked quickly to find a b. room. What did we find?? Port-a- potties.. YUCK! I would rather pee outside and after going in the ones we used outside looked a whole lot better and more sanitary. Brooke absolutely LOVED the one she went in.
We walked around and looked at what all there was. We saw all the arts/crafts/vendors there. We watched the piggy races... how cute they were.
I wanted to go to the rodeo and see Gary Allen, but it was sold out. We ate Indian Taco's for dinner... YUMMY!. I love Indian Fry bread as it is. Brooke and I had choco. frozen bananas for dessert. We got our pictures taken holding a tiger and then with some sea lions. The money paid for pics went to a good cause and who can resist a baby tiger.

Tony has decided we need a pet...a pocket pet nonetheless. There was a vendor set up with these little guys. It is a Sugar Glider. It's a marsupial that can glide 150 ft. They are very cute. I wish I had taken a pic. but they spend most of their time in the guy's pocket. Tony and I went into one of the tents that have weird objects. Here are some of what we saw.
4-horned sheep
The line for the Ferris wheel was waaaayyyy too long so we only got to ride the Air tram thing (1-way). It was pretty to the fairgrounds at night all lit up.
We ended up leaving around 10:00 for so I think. We had fun. There were some rides I wanted to go on but no one would got with me.. SISSY's..lol. Just kidding! It was okay. I was just glad to get away and go somewhere other than here. Thank you Tony for a day of FUN!
Today, we went on our field trip to the Corn Maze in SW. City. If any of you know where that is at you know the road there is not great. I got car sick on the way home with the AM class and puked at the school. I did better with the PM class. The rain held off which was a great blessing!!! However, I am now exhausted! I'm done now.
I'll post the engagement pics once I get them.

What's been going on
I haven't posted in a while, so thought I'd just post what's been going on. Really, there's not a whole lot new. Tony's came home from CA last Tues. We went to the WC football game last Friday, it was awful!!! The ref's were nuts!!! Anyway, Sat. we just hung out around here as Tony wasn't feeling well. Brooke and George came for dinner on Sunday so B could pick out our clothes for our pictures on the 4th. Tony left at 4 am on Mon. for AL. He'll be home Sat. morning and then will leave again Mon. for NY and return on Fri. I don't really like him being gone but it's really not so bad. I'm so busy during the week anyway it doesn't really phase me. However, it's more on the weekends that I miss him. He's usually home then so it's not so bad. I know it's not his fault, he can't control where work sends him. Plus, he does make more $$ while he's gone away. At this point in time that's fine with me since the wedding stuff is putting a big hole in our pockets. Really, with him being gone I think it makes us stronger as we have more to look forward to when he is home for the 2-3 days. You gotta do what you gotta do!
I think I've been very fortunate since I've bought my car. Today, my car died!!! Luckily I had jumper cables. Wasn't sure if it was the battery though. Sheri at work jumped my car and it started but made a funny noise still. Normally, for that I would take it to Wal-mart. To be on the safe side I went to the dealer. Sure enough it was the battery-should've gone to Wal-mart. I would've gone to W but we couldn't get it started again even with jumping it. I had to get a battery.. a whopping $177. OUCH!! There goes wedding stuff!!
So that's about the gist of it. Work is still stressful and having some problems but that's to be expected. Children who misbehave and parents who fight over children.... story of my life!!! Hope everyone is doing well!!

Dresses and photos
All of our dresses are here. The girls' and mine! They weren't supposed to be here until Oct/Nov. I'm glad they were early. Steph went and picked them up and took them to my parents house. My mom wasn't home so she left them with my dad. Like he knew what to do with them-they ended up on the living room floor. Now, I just have to have it altered.
We are getting our engagement pics taken on Oct. 4 at Smith Photography. I wanted to do some with Tony's race car, but since it's not in running order right now we'll have to wait until spring. We have our wedding photographer booked as well. Bob Foos, who goes to our church is going to do them. He took Adam and Julie's and they were great. He doesn't take pics anymore but said he would for us. Yes!!!
Not a whole lot going on here now. Tony's still in CA and it's still raining here. Sinus infections suck but hoping the rain will help me sleep!

Kenny Chesney
Wednesday, Sept. 10th was the end to my summer. I know summer had really already ended but it wasn't officially over for me until this day. It was my last Kenny Chesney concert of the year. He was the beginning to my summer and now he was end. It was held at the new BOK center in Tulsa. Tony was supposed to go, but how convenient he had to leave for CA that morning. Sarah was going instead. We left Miami around 4:15 drove in the rain to Tulsa. It had been years since I had been to downtown Tulsa and wasn't for sure where I was going. I followed the signs. By the way it was raining so that didn't help the situation. We made it downtown without any problem and found the BOK center right off. Next, on the agenda was to find somewhere to eat. However, downtown is horrible! It's all 1-way streets. UGH!!! I couldn't find anything! Again, it was raining. Sarah remembered there was a Spaghetti Factory close and we found it. There was a little problem though. I was driving on a 1-way road and was going to turn into the SF and some stupid lady tried to pull out when I was going to pull in. She almost hit me! She pulled out at an angle, so I couldn't turn into the parking lot. I had to keep going. She pulled out behind me and get up on my tail, swerving erratically and trying to hit my car. I turned the corner to go around the block and stopped at a stop sign. How she didn't hit my car I have no clue. Next thing I know, she is out of her truck coming up to my door. Sarah is on the phone with Brooke just yakking away. This skanky lady (40 years old I'd say) comes up to my car and starts cussing me out telling me she's going to punch my face in. She apparently though I flipped her off, however I didn't. I had my arm propped on the window with my fingers at top of the window. I could smell alcohol on her breath. She kept rambling on about how I was a bitch and needed to get the hell out before she hit me. It was really quite funny, all I would've had to do is open the car door and she would've fallen over. After that little episode, we made it safe and sound to the SF. We only had to wait about 15 min. While were waiting I overheard some people talking about how LeAnn Rimes wasn't going to be there as she was sick and that Miranda Lambert was taking her place. I sooo thrilled!!!!! I went to ask the couple to confirm. They did and I told them I was so glad!! They proceeded to tell me that they've watched LeAnn grow up and really loved her. Oops! Don't think they were too thrilled I was glad she wasn't going to be there. Oh well! Sarah was just as excited! I love Miranda! Our dinner was awesome. Sarah and I both had Manicotti (half with Alfredo half with red sauce). Delicious! After dinner, we made our way to the BOK and parked for $5 a few blocks away. The BOK is so awesome and beautiful. Our seats were wonderful. We are the 1st full section right by the stage where it T's in row 17. GREAT SEATS!!
I really don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Brother Trouble was the 1st act (Next Big Star).
They were really good and I loved some of their songs.
Next, came Miranda Lambert

She put on an awesome set. She is so full of energy and has the best kick-ass attitude! Sarah and I were so happy and impressed! She's not this skinny little thing, she's real and sings about real things and events! She rocks!!! After her high energy show it was time for Kenny. This makes my 9 or 10th show and each time it's just as amazing as the last. I know it would be rockin!
The lights went down, the screen came on and the little Pirate intro started
and the music came on and up he came.
The crowd was wild!!!! He put on a amazing show.
Another surprise was Uncle Kracker was there. There were only 3 more shows left (counting this one) and UK was there for them. They did their normal, WTSGD, Follow Me, and Drift Away.
He ended with my fav. song She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy. The show was loud, amazing, and most of all it made me forget about all my troubles! That's what his shows do for everyone. It was over about 10:30. We were home by 1:00. It was easy to find the HWY and get back on 44. I was so tired on Thurs. though. It was well worth it!!! Hopefully I'll be able to go next year but with marriage and all who knows. Tony owes me one!!!
