I'd give my life for my car!

You know how people always ask the question, "Would you give your life for....?" Well, this evening I found this to be true, however it wasn't for another human but for my car. Tony and I were in the process of moving my uncle's Studebaker truck out of our garage. My driveway is not flat. It is flat in front of the garage and then slopes down on either side to the yard. I had moved my car to what I thought was a safe place-to the side of the house. We got the truck pushed out and were pushing it backwards into the yard. It started rolling down and wouldn't stop. It rolled down the slope and right towards my car. I ran and jumped between my car and the truck so it wouldn't hit my car. I was wedged between the two and the truck finally stopped after hitting a tree (no damage to either). Let me tell ya-between 2 vehicles is not where you want to be. There's a saying that your butt=more cushion for the pushin. This came true tonight-my butt put a dent in my car from pushing trying to get the truck stopped. Luckily, the only injuries I came away with where some big bruises and scrapes on my right leg. Tony wans't very happy that I did that-"You can replace a car, but you can't be replaceable." My thought was I don't have the $$ to fix the car so save it instead. I did! Tony pushed the dent out on my car the best he could. Just funny that the impact was so hard that I put a dent it in. So, needless to say it was an interesting evening! Not too long after we were done it started storming! Hope everyone had a great Father's Day!
